EPSM and Grupo JJ Louro Pereira SA sign partnership protocol

The Vocational School of Salvaterra de Magos (EPSM) and the company JJ Louro Pereira SA signed a cooperation protocol that will allow EPSM students to undertake curricular internships in this company, as well as access to future recruitment processes. Within the scope of this partnership, other training activities will also be developed, such as workshops, technical seminars and study visits to the company.

JJ Louro Pereira SA is one of the largest employers and exporters in the district of Santarém, employing a total of 1100 employees in 16 industrial units located in various parts of the country. In Portugal, the JJLouro Pereira Group is a leader in the production and sale of furniture, especially in the retail sector, but also in hotels, contracts, companies and public and private entities. The company owns the brands Lourini, Lusocolchão, LOMM, Sanplax, TopFoam, Miraterra and LouroGest.

With this partnership, EPSM intends to increasingly foster the interconnection between the training activities developed at the school and the needs felt by the regional business fabric, with regard to the qualification of human resources.
