EPSM participates in events in the region

This weekend, EPSM took an active part in the Lezírias Ribatejanas Carolino Rice Festival, an event promoted by Benavente Municipal Council and held in Samora Correia from 17 to 19 May.

EPSM was represented by the catering course team. Our students from the Cookery/Pastry and Restaurant/Bar courses were in charge of room service in the main restaurant and provided support for the various workshops that took place.

Many of the workshops held over the three days of the Festival were organised by EPSM trainers (Gisela Chaves, Noélia Costa, Bernardo Duarte, Pedro Alves, Plínio Alves) and former EPSM student Chef Kiko Vicente.

In addition, in May, EPSM, together with the Qualifica Centre, took part in the May Fair, which ran from 9 to 12 May in Salvaterra de Magos.  During the event, we took the opportunity to publicise our training offer for the next academic year and to welcome everyone who visited us. Also on display were some of the models and prototypes developed by the students on the Electronics, Automation and Command course.
