EPSM video report awarded by Young Reporters for the Environment.

A video report produced by four students from the Communication Course at EPSM was honored by the Young Reporters for the Environment as the best report of the month of January.

Yonica Janete de Carvalho, Sara Filipa Janeiro Lobo, Flávia Alexandra Almeida Costa and Margarida Caçador Barros developed a project based on a revealing fact: only 13% of young people identify themselves as environmental enthusiasts, according to the study "Climate of Change: Perceptions on Environmental Challenges in Portugal" , by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

Faced with this reality, the students decided to go further and created a survey with the school community to learn about the students' recycling habits — transforming information into action and journalism into environmental awareness.
