On June 27th, the third and final meeting of this academic year of the "Pensar a Escola" Forum took place at EPSM, which brought together all the delegates and sub-delegates of the EPSM classes with the Student Association.

The SafeWander project, developed by a group of 11th year Management IT students, is among the 10 finalists that passed to the Final Phase of the FAQtos Prize. Gonçalo Gonçalves, Guilherme Branco, Madalena Pereira, Simão Praia and Tomás João, supported by professor Rafael Silva, developed this project which consists of implementing a technological solution to assist and monitor patients with dementia, especially Alzheimer's.

Antônio Zapata, a 10th year student of the EPSM Communication course, won in his category, the Intermunicipal Phase of the Photography Competition "Let's photograph our architectural heritage", which involved the 11 municipalities of the Intermunicipal Community of Lezíria do Tejo ( CIMLT).

EPSM promoted a lunch today with guardians who are part of Parents' Associations from the various schools in the region. Representatives of the Benavente Parents' Association, the Parents' Association of the Samora Correia and Porto Alto School Group, the Parents' Association of the Marinhais Group, the Parents' Association of the Coruche Group and also the Representative of EPSM Parents were present.

This weekend, EPSM was actively participating in the Carolino Rice Festival, an event promoted by the Municipality of Benavente and which took place in Samora Correia. The previous week, EPSM was also present at the May Fair, which took place between the 9th and 12th, in Salvaterra de Magos.

On May 16th we held a session on Financial Literacy for all our students and guardians. The guest speakers were Dr. José Carlos Nunes, from the Santarém Polytechnic Institute and Dr. Nuno Rico, from Deco Proteste.

The Psychology and Guidance Services (SPO) from the various school groups in the region came together at EPSM for a working meeting, which was followed by lunch at the Pedagógico Restaurant.
