EPSM saw its applications approved for the creation of two Specialized Technological Centers (CTE) in the IT and Industrial areas. With a global investment of around 3,000,000 euros, the creation of these two new centers involves restructuring and expanding the school's facilities, as well as equipping spaces with innovative and specialized technological equipment.

EPSM was once again distinguished with the Child Friendly School seal. The awards session took place on June 15th, at Almeirim City Hall. In the various categories in the competition, EPSM had several projects that deserved distinction from the jury.

The 10th year Kitchen/Pastry and Restaurant/Bar classes presented this Friday, in the EPSM auditorium, the integrative project “Mãos à Horta” that they developed throughout the school year. This project, which had as its motto Sustainable Development and Environmental Education, in order to reduce EPSM's ecological footprint, is the result of interdisciplinary work between the subjects of Portuguese, English, Mathematics, ICT, Economics and technical areas of the course.

The EPSM Pedagogical Garden is already playing a significant role in providing vegetables and aromatic plants for our Pedagogical Restaurant. In preparing this Thursday's menu - Spring Salad, Baked Spare Ribs with Honey and Mustard and Summer Bowl - some fresh products directly collected from the Garden have already been used, contributing to healthier and tastier dishes.

Recommended by Ciência Viva, EPSM was invited to participate in the international workshop "EU4OCEAN SPOW - Plastic pollution and working with ocean technologies", organized by SCIENTIX and the European Network of Blue Schools. EPSM was invited to share with schools around the world the development process of the EPSWater project, a project that has been developed by students on the Electronics, Automation and Control course, as an example of good practices and innovation within the scope of promoting ocean sustainability among school audiences
