As part of the integrative project, some EPSM students joined the Associação Amigos da Rua this week, distributing clothes, shoes and other essential goods to support those most in need.

Within the scope of Hotel/Restaurant courses, EPSM began, this academic year, a strategic partnership with Herdade do Sobroso and Eporifrutas, companies that sponsor the Kitchen/Pastry and Restaurant/Bar classes of the 2024/2027 training cycle. This sponsorship model should be expanded to other areas of training, consolidating the connection between EPSM and the job market.

As part of their integrated project, the 11th year classes of the Restaurant/Bar and Kitchen/Pastry technical courses at the Salvaterra Professional School have carried out, in recent weeks, some solidarity actions, involving the entire community.

EPSM is proud to announce that it has been invited to join the network of “European Parliament Ambassador Schools”. Our school now joins a group of 139 secondary and vocational schools in Portugal, all committed to promoting European citizenship.

EPSM saw its applications approved for the creation of two Specialized Technological Centers (CTE) in the IT and Industrial areas. With a global investment of around 3,000,000 euros, the creation of these two new centers involves restructuring and expanding the school's facilities, as well as equipping spaces with innovative and specialized technological equipment.

EPSM was once again distinguished with the Child Friendly School seal. The awards session took place on June 15th, at Almeirim City Hall. In the various categories in the competition, EPSM had several projects that deserved distinction from the jury.

The 10th year Kitchen/Pastry and Restaurant/Bar classes presented this Friday, in the EPSM auditorium, the integrative project “Mãos à Horta” that they developed throughout the school year. This project, which had as its motto Sustainable Development and Environmental Education, in order to reduce EPSM's ecological footprint, is the result of interdisciplinary work between the subjects of Portuguese, English, Mathematics, ICT, Economics and technical areas of the course.
