EPSM wins 2nd place in the FAQtos Award with a project by Electronics students

EPSM once again stood out nationally by winning 2nd place in the FAQtos 2025 Award, with the EPSWater project, presented by five students from the Electronics course and supervised by Professor José Carvalho. The final took place on July 5th, at the Instituto Superior Técnico, and the project aims to contribute to the preservation of river water quality through the automated monitoring of several environmental parameters.

On April 17th, the EPSM community came together with a shared goal: to save lives! The blood donation campaign, in partnership with the Brazilian Institute of Blood and Transplantation, was a real success and exceeded all expectations – the target was 50 donations, but the turnout was much higher.

On April 11, all EPSM employees participated in Basic Life Support (BLS) training. The training was led by Nurse Rui Pereira, from the National Institute of Medical Emergencies (INEM), and its main objective was to train the EPSM team with knowledge and techniques that can make a difference in emergency situations.
